Sorry to hear about your Mom, Tom.
That place sure did empty out fast Saturday afternoon. Next year I plan on getting there on Thursday :) But then again I say I'm always going to get there early the following year and never do :)
Did any of you guys that went on the convoy back in May buy...
Start simple.... I would check the batteries and make sure they are fully charged. Then check the connections to the batteries. There are several really good threads in the CUCV section for troubleshooting such issues.
Here is a good one you may want to look at...
Well I have the MV bill draft so if any one is interested send me a PM and I will email you a copy. I'm looking for folks input and to see if any other issues need to be added.
I do plan on adding what forms we will need for registration so that will be in black and white, and hopefully make...
Well that sucks that I missed you. I didn't intend on going on the trailride but Jim let me be gunner on the Ferret so I couldn't refuse :) Sorry I missed you. Nice score by the way.
Those civi guys next door usually have some really good deals on MV related items. I just got done testing out my convoy light and the glad hand air hose with gauge. Well hopefully we will see you next year, maybe even before then :)
What the!!? Well if you did show up then I missed you.
I know it was another great event and look forward to next year. It was great seeing everyone again and meeting MWMules, I hope you have a safe and uneventful trip back home.
Turned out to be my fuel line from the filter to the IP was kinked really bad. I got a replacement from NAPA and took it for a good test drive this weekend and all is well.
I got it!!! Thanks for the assist guys! I checked my line because I was going to pour fuel in it and noticed there was fuel in it so I cranked on it a few times then it started. I never got anything out of the drain on the primer pump...
Yeah I had the bleeder valve open. I followed the TM.
I have pumped more than 30 times :) I ended up having to take the filter housing off to get that hose off and so it doesn't have much fuel in it. I guess I'll try to put some fuel in the line and see. I do appreciate the help guys.
I had to replace my fuel line from the filter to the IP. I've been pumping forever to get it primed. Does it take a while to get to prime back? It is a PITA.
Sweet!!! You got room for the Thibeau Army at Fort Creason? We'll be there in the 5 ton. I got me a new fuel line from the filter to the pump. The old one was kinked. I hope that was causing my power issues, I'll see tomorrow. I'll be up some time tomorrow after I get home from work in the...
I hear that. I was just thinking that if it was the same price for a large order then I may order several and sell them to folks on here at cost.
Keep us posted on what you find out from NAPA &/or Cummins.
Wow!! There is always a catch. Is the shipping the same on a larger quantity? I know I'm waiting for quotes from a few sources that I found when I Googled the NSN.
Thanks. I'll try that then. I was just some what hesitant on doing that because most of the time you take things to an auto parts store you get the "I have no clue what you want look" and unless it is in their computer system they are useless. The days of competent and helpful folks are...
