That's what I was thinking when I saw that and so that is how this thread came about. It was more like what the F***!!! I'm attempting to track a filter down.
This filter will apply to everything except the M936. If you look at the next page 476 - 477. You have a different filter for the...
You have a bad battery is what I would suspect or a bad battery connection. My voltmeter starts off in the yellow before I start it but when it is idling it is in the green. If yours is in between the yellow and green then it may not be charging your batteries correctly. I would suggest...
Will do!
I just need to find where the motor number is. I looked for a plate and couldn't find one. I did find some numbers stamped in the side of the engine block.
Wow!! That looks really handy! I never knew about it and I'm sure there are others as well that don't. I wonder if it would be better to put it in the 5 ton wiki or start a separate thread and have it stickied.
Due to recent fuel issues that I originally thought were transmission issues, I've been digging into my TMs on my M923. I noticed that there is a fuel pump filter. It is item #1 in the attached picture. It is in TM 9-2320-272-24-1 pg 474-475. I was curious if anyone has changed this and may...
Do you have NAPA part number? I just found my issue and it is my fuel supply line from the filter to the IP. It was kinked and is in rough shape. I'm really surprised that it just started giving me problems.
Well my plans are up in the air...... The M923 has a fuel issue so I'm not too sure that I will take it unless I can get it fixed, and the M1009 looks to have a leak in the heater core. I may end up taking it or I may have to fire up the deuce. I know I will be there in some capacity on Friday.
I'll be there Friday as well after I get me a nap in that morning since I get off work that morning. I won't be staying all day Saturday like I normally do because my 2 boys have their first flag football game that day.
Well I want to thank everyone for their input and help. I know more about my transmission now. I have narrowed it down to it being a fuel issue from post advise and after driving it this past weekend. I plan on changing my filter and depending on how it looks I will go from there.
We've staged our vehicles for the weekend and got to see the Blue Angels practice along with a few other aerial demonstrations. It is going to be an awesome show this year!!! I'll post up pictures Sunday or Monday. I know I'll be trying out the new camcorder we got :)
We need to set up a Steel Soldiers section since there will be quite a few of us there. Or maybe Tom will have us an AO set up. He had a nice one last year :)
Sweet!!! Looking forward to meeting you. I'm bringing some surplus that I have to sell. Not sure exactly what vehicle I will be in..... decisions, decisions :)
It's a GL truck. It probably needs the fuel filter replaced. I will be doing that after this much needed rain passes through. I haven't gotten around to changing all the filters yet so I guess that's a good place to start.
