the vac on the cucv controls the shift points and firmness to some degree. the "full throttle" switch is an electric one operated by a 12v signal that comes from a simple switch when the pedal is mashed to the floor. (this is the same operation as any civilian diesel with the th400 trans.)

nice, just remember the kickdown switch in the transmission is 12v, i dont know if it would take very kindly to having 24v send to it. Its the only wire going to the trans, its on the passenger side. It gets power when you have the pedal to the floor and makes the trans downshift. It will...

all of the cucv's have the 32spline outputs, so this part would cross to the different trucks, I believe that even though the 1008's have a larger rear driveshaft, it uses the same series u-joints.

Re: RE: #2 gen light on No it will not charge, if your light burns out then the "sense" circuit for the alternator wont know to make the alternator put out voltage. The civilian trucks have a resistor built into the harness that will let the alternator keep charging if the light burns out, but...

thats something that may work, esp. since most people have java on there computers now. but the main issue would be the ports that the irc server would run on, since most places of work and some home networks block the ports that irc uses by default. We'd have to pick a port that is almost...
