so your heads are not J code? It has been a couple years sense I have tore apart a 6.2, I thought that the J code engines did not have the cross over passages for the EGR like the C code engines did. I don't even think the intake would cover then up. Can you send a pic of what you have going on...
You can run a 6.2 no problem at 50% WMO... here is the problem... you need to filter it down to 6 micron or less. The Injection pumps HATE dirt and bits o crap. It will eat the pump alive.
308 and a OD? that would be a DOG and prob take the engine out of the power band causing less MPG's.
With my 5 inch lifted 33" mud tire M1009 we squeaked 28 MPG's out of her one week but most of the time we were in the mid 20's.
You really cant go wrong with the set up that is in there.

ok sorry....
But yes bolt in.. I would replace all the seals and king pin bushing so problems can be avoided

Here is one pic... I am still waiting on a set of fittings! Man slow boat from Ohio I guess.... But I had a couple laying around so I was able to get one done.
take the tin off and take a look... I had to do that to my last deuce... it was leaking so I just replaced the pump. There are heads you there for 400 or new pumps for 600.
