    Rebuilding MY m101a2 BY harleyhouse

harleyhouse, I must say, I've seen your avatar and wondered about it... thanks for the detailed description and pictures I'm one of those who doesn't think it's a good idea to modify military vehicles, mainly because they only made so many of them and each one of them that is 'modified' means...

    New M1009 CUCV owner!!

a compressor out of a HMMWV (it's 24v) will give you a compressor you can mount almost anywhere you can run power to. You would want to add a tank, I snagged a tank that is about three feet long and hopefully that will mount up under the truck with no problems... again, just a thought

    New M1009 CUCV owner!!

sweet score about that 'lift' you don't need one - what you want is to get your springs replaced - a good spring shop can replace your springs and add a couple of leafs up front that will do everything you want and it should NOT require you to make any drive line changes now, for the LAZY...

    Finally got an MKT-75A

Well, I got all four jack stand legs down. And leveled it out... THEN I decided I needed to move it from where scrancher parked it for me to where I finally think I want it parked for now. So I hooked it up to the dually, and it pulled great. I even got into some real soft dirt that I had...
