I always open the throttle on mine when starting cold, it definately helps. I also use the ether injection for cold starts, one shot will bring the engine to life. Saves tremendously on crank time, starter wear and battery life. It's a very simple kit to install. If you do a search here, you...
RE: Re: RE: Small update on my truck.
Sounds like you may be loosing your prime. First check for leaks in the fuel lines.
Check the mechanical pump output. Do this with another person. Remove wire from IP so it won't start then disconnect the rubber fuel line going into the filter block and...
That's it Sean. Man, that's clean too! You have to put in smaller batteries (dimensionally), to be able to get the pass side heater and battery boxes installed, correct?

It has not dropped/sagged/settled in 2 years.
GL recently auctioned a group of trucks that from the pictures looked new, or nearly new. Looks like a couple guys here got one. So what exactly is the 'depot refurbish' procedure, besides a paint job and seat covers? Does anybody know to what extent a truck is gone through when turned in for a...
Congrats on the trucks. Post a couple pics of the ones you got, a lot of us were watching the auction frenzy.
