No way that I would drive a truck with that kind of lift. I would not think that it has any stability. Of course, there is no way you would get me into anything with these seats.
He is about 90 minutes outside of Fresno.
His shop is about 1 1/2 hours from Fresno and I think you will like his prices. Call him at (813) 871-5100. He works here in Florida but also has a shop in California. JJ Dagorret is his name and automatedag@verizon.net is his e-mail. He is headed back...
Nope, these are all parts from trucks where they used the axles to build ag machinery. His dad was going/starting to scrap some stuff but should have that on hold right now. He (JJ) is heading out to Calif. soon and I will ask him to shoot me some photos of what is on site.
Here is the link to the Sherwin Williams paint. I went by my local store yesterday and they quoted me $85/gal for the green, single component CARC and they have it and the primer in stock. http://www.sherwin-williams.com/oem/us/eng/products/mildtl53039b_type_i/
Since they stock it I also skip...
I am going Tampa to Denver and back next month if you have anything small enough to fly. I never carry enough baggage and am happy to add a checked bag or two of parts just to make the airline carry what they say I can bring.
At the risk of putting a hex on my next one. Sent in the SF 97 paperwork on April 10 for my first purchase. I received my Florida title in the mail on May 24. Not sure why mine went so quickly versus many other folks but I am not complaining.
Picked up this deuce today for my brother in Colorado. It appears that there were a lot of good trucks going today at reasonable prices. He liked the sand color canvas and plans to make it look like one of the ones from his unit when the rolled into Iraq.
The economics say buy one close to home unless the deal is huge. Given diesel prices right now figure that fuel will cost you about $.50 a mile and 500 miles is a really long day in a deuce. If you buy one in somewhere like Oklahoma so that you are looking at abut a 1,500 mile trip to come...
RE: Re: RE: Greetings from Florida
They are a new, large and fun game. Living in Punta Gorda you can look at the Cape, Eglin AFB, Jax and as far north as Atlanta. That gives you quite a bit of selection and options. Take Clinto's advice and read the operators manual and the tech manuals. I...
Clinto,
I am planning to come way up North for the GA rally this year. Looks like the last weekend of September has Alabama rolling into Athens. Something to think about as it could cause some Saturday traffic issues near your house.
Kipman,
I sure hope someone takes this so it does not become scrap. If no one wants the whole thing then I have a list of small M109 specific parts that I would like to discuss with you.
Jason,
I am keeping an eye out for van parts for my 109 down here in Florida also. I will let you know if I find one this way as shipping small parts should not be too hard or expensive. If you find a box up your way let me know as I would like some spares for the unique pieces of the van.
They asked for a color copy via e-mail not fax when I did my EUC in January and then again this month. Looks like they want a very clean copy of the DL now.
