I won the light trailer there also. I was going to bid on the M35 that was a cab and chassie, but the price shot up to fast.

I will try to find you some this week. The sad part is when I posted years ago that I had the kits, you were the only one who wanted one. There were several kits at my friends place then, but there was no one wanting them, so I did not get any more. I checked on them today, they were all...

I have 3 internationals here, one is a M2-4 with winch, the other two are FFN-3s. Both FFN-3s are winch models. Cool part is, under the windshield frame on the 1944 FFN-3 is stenciled WMSG-27, that Marine squidron is still active and I was with it most of my time in the Marines.

If you have other PMs on the side compartment doors, then I will withdraw my offer for them. Let them go to some one that needs them. My doors are ok, I wanted the doors as extras. I saw in the photos that the doors were still there and did not want to see them get crushed.
As a side note...
I will want the light and the guard off the roof. Jetnoise400 will pick up for me.
Also, see what he wants for all the storage doors (compartment doors) on the side of the trucks. I will PM Jetnoise about picking them up.
Thanks.
Jetnoise, your pile of parts is now getting bigger here......

Try Frank Von Rosenstiel, He has alot of CCKW parts. I have bought from him before when I had a couple of CCKWs. e-mail vonrosenstiel@globalserve.net
Also, try Bob Muller at his web site vehiclesofvictory.com
Bob sells Chevy and GMC parts for the CCKW, a good guy.
I would go to Bobs site...
They (the Russians) also copied the US-6 truck up into the 1960s. There was a very bad flaw in the cab area of the US-6, Studabacker know about it, but the military would not let them correct it due to it would mean stopping production. When the Russians started copieing the US-6 after...
I drove one for a year at MCAS Cherry Point! Great truck! My truck was the "52". Sorry, long day, I will write more tomorrow, thanks for showing the photo, had some great Marines on my crew.

Yes, that is the remains of a closed cab CCKW. I had a very nice one back in the 1980s when they were being bought in by White Owl parts company here in NC. I bought my closed cab for $2800, no rust, ran great, and had great brakes.

I am down the road from you in Newport, NC. I saw the M109 for sell also, but I already have one so, I am very happy it went to a good home. You got it at a very good price!!! You did good.
Take care.

The truck is a CCKW with some "bubba" mods to the hood and side panels. If you make a run to the beach, stop in I have 3 WW2 Internationals here to show you what they look like, sadly I just sold the Dodge 6x6 (WC63) but I can show you photos of her. The offer stands, if in the area...
There was the remains of one at White Owl Parts company in Kinston, NC. It has been years sence I have been back in the yard were it was. Might be gone now.
One of my fellow Crash Crewman has a photo of one that took a mortor hit in early Viet Nam.

The GL guys at Camp Lejeune are good Joes, if thy say it runs with a jump it will. They are also very helpful. I have been buying military suplus for about 40 years, they are some of the best I have seen.

A Dodge WC-1 4x4 that was made in 1941 for the National Guard.
I also have in the collection a 1934 military issued wheeled flight line fire extinguisher, does that count?

We had a field full of F4s here at MCAS Cherry Point just a couple of years ago. The place I work at would rebuild them into flying drones. When they flew out of here they were a brand new airplane, with a one way ticket. They would fly them out to the west coast to be shot down. What Boomer was...
