    Testing Water on Selling

Ah thank you for correcting me there. That's good information to know.

    Testing Water on Selling

Since you don't have a title its going to be tough to sell out of state. I know here in LA no title is a no go. As far as value goes around me you could sell the average deuce for 4-5k all day long.

Turning Fuel Up on a "G Code" Injection Pump - Video

Honestly I will second the idea of making this a sticky. I love "how to" videos on a common problem/question. And I happen to have this style of IP.

    long VS short airpack pics

Clinto you were correct. In fact I remember reading that post and when I finally found that kit it had the same part #. That got me thinking maybe I could find a haldex distributor and get it. But I was on a time crunch and never did that. Hey gimp where did you find it? Pm me if its...

    M35A2 Brake problem

I got mine from jatonka. I know a few different kits were available at one time or another but I believe jatonka's are the only ones still available. At least that I could find. That being said I'm very happy with them. You can either find him on here or go to his website. John will take...

    M35A2 Brake problem

Well I have the spin on filter kits both oil and fuel. You will like them. As far as the brakes go they really aren't much of a problem in mud or water unless your going in deep. In that case you should pull your drums and check for water intrusion anyways. Like I said earlier if and when I...

Can the Master Cylinder handle 50psi? (And brake flush related questions)

In a properly functioning brake system 50psi is meaningless. The airpak when fully functional ramps the line pressure upwards of 2000psi. The master cylinder alone can generate several hundred by itself when you push the pedal. Bleed your brakes and stop on the pedal a few times good and...

    M35A2 Brake problem

Wow you dug up an old thread. Go to the deuce hotrod and modification forum and check out Hanksdeuce bobber thread. He installed black rock fab's disk brake conversion. Now if you have an air force a2c then that truck should already have a split braking system. This setup is superior since...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Well dipstick I don't believe I would mess with synthetic oil in a deuce. I have found older engines don't seem to like full synthetic. I guess its possible synthetic is "too slick". That and I wouldn't want to buy 23 quarts of full synthetic oil. And whatadeuce is probably right on he front...

    long VS short airpack pics

Ladies and gentlemen I present the fabled "short" air pack rebuild kit. Many have claimed sightings even fewer have caught a glimpse. However here is proof that it indeed does exist. My research indicates this is a haldex part. However I cannot prove its ancestry other than I purchased this...

    long VS short airpack pics

Ya it was pretty rough. Everywhere that air traveled was full of rusty water. All the spring clips that hold the piston rod into the hydraulic end had to be beat out with a punch. Everything was rusted. The inside of the hydraulic end was squeaky clean remarkably. Also I still have the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yikes. Good luck getting that apart. And I love the idea of having a crane in my deuce. But until I find a folding davit crane that doesn't cost a fortune I must make do without.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I am not above getting put the flaring tools both single and double, or my bender. However I usually don't like making my life harder than it has to be. Also has anyone seen copper prices in the last few years.

    long VS short airpack pics

Here are the pictures I currently have on my phone. I will post pictures of the rebuild kit later tonight or tomorrow when I get a chance. I will also post the part number.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I'm glad you asked Clinto. The a3 me and another member are bobbing was entirely done in plastic air line. Judging on the number of coats of paint id say the air line is original. So say 20 or so years old. Here's the kicker, we aren't replacing any of it! We are simply shortening the air...

    long VS short airpack pics

Well I won't bash tnj Murray too hard for a few reasons. Number one they were the only people who had one I could find. And believe me I looked. Also they have a very large selection of parts. That being said they are not my go to parts people. Shipping is slow and CS well there is none. I...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I have been quite well, thank you sir. I hope the same goes for you. Also glad to see you got the new heater installed. Not the time of year to have no heat....and I'm from the south! Also the a3 bobber is finally making some good progress. Once we get the air ride finished up I will begin...

    long VS short airpack pics

Hmm talk about an old thread coming back to life. But just so the info is out there tnj Murray has the short air pack rebuild kits. I have one and have disassembled my short air pack and verified it is indeed the correct kit. Mine was too destroyed to rebuild so I replaced it. Still have the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

When you replace those copper lines use the flexible plastic air brake line or pex. Way easier to deal with and cheaper. Also durable. Your gonna love the spin ons when you get them. Special thanks to jatonka for making those available. Best mod I have done to my deuce.
