What are M416B1 trailers selling for these days?

Regular M416 trailers are worth between $300 and $1000 depending on condition (obviously $300 is a trailer that is usable but needs help, $1K would be a restored variant). I'd add 50% for the B1 type trailer to any of the above numbers, for similar conditions.

    Flat Bed Trailer ID

It may have been utilized as a transport trailer for containers or mobile homes in it's life. Looks life you will have to remove that weird box looking thing on the gooseneck, as well as the rear "ramp" on the back of the trailer, plus mount some proper military wheels and tires. Deck could...

    Flat Bed Trailer ID

It would be great to save it for those lucky few that have an M819 wrecker/tractor to tow it. If he plans to scrap, go from scrap value and work your way up. I'd say $1500 as a good starting point. I believe the 813 and a dolly can get it home safely, provided you don't go too fast and take...

    UNIMOG pic thread

I came across a bunch of old UNIMOG pics that I had saved on my computer, I wanted to share them in a thread, hoping others would join in. The Unimog is a really neat vehicle, one of the things I think is special about it is because it is so utilitarian, many have been modified for all sorts of...

    87 finished for now

Looks great! You can tell, though, that you put the bumper markings on before you mounted the winch. ;)

NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY @ our place in WI

I'll be there in spirit, but thanks for posting the announcement. Almost one year without a job - I guarantee I'll be in a bottle for most of the night Dec. 31st.

    Bitten by a drill.

50/50 chance the nail will turn black and fall off, and regrow. Yep, hurts like a sumbich, but you'll be more careful next time, won't ya?

The M105 cargo trailer and the M332/M10 ammo trailers are pretty much the same weight. :deadhorse:

    M1031 build

Dunedigger, good work on the truck - but after Christmas is over and you're done using this as the sleigh, we urge you to return the truck to OD green or camo, and lose the red. :)

Need to find this boarding ladder!!

They made one with four steps, works great on M37s and M101 trailers. I'm sure that if you find one, you can adapt the tailgate of the CUCV to accept it....

    Name this Tank

Saw this webpage about it. Other than the fact that it turned up in a Russian military museum, and the tank itself dates from the early 1990s, very little about this tank is known. The Secret Soviet Laser Tank

Anyone know what the "lowboy" section of the HEMAT trailer, what the floor space dimensions are?

    2 meter radios MV

The problem with trying to use a military radio in the 2-meter band is that most of the common military radios aren't anywhere near those frequencies. Military bands are either in the HF band (2-30 MHz) or in the lower VHF band (30-80 MHz or so). There aren't common rigs on upper VHF freqs...

    Marine One tour

I reckon the insides contain all sorts of security and protection-related items that the heads of HMX-1 are responsible for maintaining secrecy on. Very cool pics though, not a couple birds you see everyday. The VH-3 Sea King is almost a 50 year old design, it's hauled presidents since the...
