Welcome to the site! Great guys on here. I am down on the coast near Morehead City (town of Newport). Have several vehicles from pre WWII to gulf war (to include a captured Irac trailer).

Am I missing some thing here. Your CUVC was damaged during "unloading"?
Is this DRMO site were the truck was damaged a GL site only? as in no DRMO personal work there? I am asking this, because the DRMO sites here are maned by both.
If the truck was damaged during "unloading" it was damaged 3...
When you submit your paper work for the SF97 to GL, put Kaiser on the SF97 requist form. The inspector will be looking at the SF 97 paper work, not the invoice you got from GL.

A guy here did this. He got a canvas shop to make him a summer top that attached to the windshield, it went across his cab bows, and across the bed bows and was strapped down at the rear of the truck.
It looked very good, it did shade his passengers, but also, it was easy for one person to put...
RE: No more $50.00 starting bids for Demil B & Q Propert
The guy at GL passed that on to me last week. He said the reason was they were spending to much money doing the EUC paper work.

RE: Is a CJ3B, "military?"
Yes, the CJ-3B was "drafted". Alot of them were purchased and given to South Vietnam. The SeaBees (Navy) also got alot of them. There are a couple out there that have been restored. Neat item on them is the full windshield that folds out. I found one years ago here...
I saw in your post about worried about not getting the training you want. If it is training, then go air force or navy. If you want to be a Marine, then go Marines.

It was the best thing that ever happened to me in my life. It is a title you will carry with you for the rest of you life also. Go out into a parking lot and walk around, do you notice Marine bumber stickers on cars, they are proud to be called Marines. My true friends are all Marines, it is a...
What time frame are you looking at to have the set? I have a set in the shed that still have the splines in them. I did this same thing years ago with a set of Dodge front hubs..

Not to high jack this, but as of Jan 1st, NC has had some BIG changes in the titling of any vehicle over 35 years old that has not been titled before in the state. If you have a vehicle that has not been titled before in the state, a state vehicle inspector has to come out and look at it to...
Does any one here have a M101 trailer made in or around 1965? My data plate is blank in the spot for manufacture. I need a manufacture of the m101s to put in the spot before I get my title.
Thanks!!

Yea! what beach? also down on the coast of NC.
On the hieght, maybe the one fire department over loaded, and run the poor thing into the ground. Our local fire department here has a M37, that rear axle rests on the frame as the springs are completely gone in the rear from years of running...

Do not worry.
A. the army does not own your truck any more, and could care less about it.
B. They will not look for records of your truck. When we turned our trucks in, the records did not go with them. They went into the dumster.
C. your truck is a Vet that has done it's time. They...
I have been collecting military vehicles for over 30 years now. I have never had a DMV ask to see my vin plates. Thank God, they do not here, because most of the trucks I have owned the titles did NOT match the vin plates. I have trucks from WWII that were titled as year being in the 1950s...
