Shot in the dark, but can you repair one? If so I have one here that was a new one, just put on my truck, and it was busted out by accident. The glass needs to be replaced and the top rail put back on. You can have it, if you think you can fix it. I am down the road from you in North...
RE: Another Example
Looks funny on the 3/4 ton WWII Dodges, they did not have the sloped hood like the 1/2 ton WCs ( I know the 3/4 ton carry all and ambulance had a sloped hood, but they were full inclosed bodies)

If you can get it cheap, go for it. The windshield alone will bring you some $$ from the Power Wagon guys whpo are always looking for good whindshield frames. The cab also, stripped down of the seats and gages and doors are items again the Power Wagon guys are after.
The WC parts on it...

I have a WC-1, it does not have the wind shield regulator on it, nor has any one with the correct cab I have ever seen. I have owned 3 closed cab WC 1/2s, and a couple of closed cabs (none as nice as yours!).
Could the cab be a civilain pick up or heavy truck cab, because it is not a WC...
I have been collecting WWII Dodges for years.
What you have is a:
1. A WC1/2 ton Dodge 4x4
2. some one has put a Chevy motor in it.
3. the cab is off a Dodge Power wagon, look in the middle of the cab it has the window crank, the WWII half ton did not have that.
This is common for open cab...
You will need the M38 top bows and footman loops were the canvas straps down.
That is if the top is a military one. The CJ2A (that is what your 47 is) and the M38 had about the same size tub. But one being military and the other civilian, that had different style tops. The CJ 2A top bows came...
I can help you out!! I sent up with Garbee 5! yes 5!! two holers...two man wooden latrines. These are brand new, never pooped in! Still sealed in paper. I hope Garbee will set one up (for display only!). They are great to set up at the back yard parties, just make two signs, one for both ends...
Every t90 transmission I had did that.
Back in the mid 70s, I talked to an old army motor vet. He said he was with a unit one time that made a bracket that mounted on the dash board of there M38 jeeps. When you placed the jeep into 2nd gear, and was going to keep in second gear for a while, the...
Wow!
Two items jump right out at me. One, for a jeep that should be very close to perfect, they should have put the windshield gasket back on (look at the inner wind shield frame, no gasket!), plus, my 1943 ford jeep looks 100 times better under the hood. It looks like no detail was done to the...
Who from up north was wanting a M35 box drivers seat for the M35? We PMed each other several moths ago, but I lost contact.

RE: What
I have my manuals still backed away in crates from my move 6 months ago.
My rarest manauls would be a perfect 1943 manual for the Allis Chalmers model B tractor and, for you that get Army Moters magazine, the story in the last issue on Marine/Navy fording kits, the photo of the one...
RE: Re: RE: Veggie oil way up in price....
I was offered 5 gallons of new (out of date stock) compressor oil today, will that burn in our multi fuel trucks?

You are not going to find any M35s at DRMO that were Marine trucks, we got rid of them years ago. There is a place down the road from me that got two Marine M35sfrom Camp Lejeune about 20 years ago, both were nice.....20 years ago when I saw them, now, they are sad looking.
Find yourself the...
I have no rims now for sell, sorry.
The Rims the MgySgt Hopfer repaired for me over now over 16 years ago, are still doing fine.

In the photo of the M101 dumping the sand, make sure you chain up your tailgate while dumping, as you have to drive backwards to make the bed dump. I did not do this, the tailgate was pulled under the bed.....opps..

How far are you from Hilton Head? I am going to a school there next month. Send me a PM of every thing you need, maybe you can save some $$ on shipping.
On the jump seats, do you need the seat or do you also need the brackets that hold it to the bed?

Was the trailer the truck was put on a roll back? or a drop deck? Or was it 5 feet off the ground?
If it was a roll back, I had a truck damaged while being pushed to the roll back, I was there, I saw it, I ate the price of the damages, they were trying to help load me and get me on the road.
