Be carefull about your approach angle. I hit the bank of a ditch hard enough to lift the front of the truck with the bumper, looks like your winch would be the first thing to hit.

Well I have given up on finding the knock for now. Not sure if it is a knock, or maybe just a rattle. I can somewhat hear it by the balancer, but then I can hear it about midway along the bottom of the engine block. I don't know if it is serious or not! The injector, water, and air pump all...
Oil pressure is great, pegs the 60 psi gauge cold, and about 55 warm.
I did use a hose when trying to find the knock, and the injector pump sounded fine. I will doulble check, but I think the knock went away when the air compresser was pumping, but the sound is low and on the front of the...
Been hearing a knock in my deuce lately. I have driven some with the knock, don't hear it all the time. So I break down and pull the pan, no loose rods, and everything looks good. Sounded like it was coming from the front of the engine, so I am thinking the harmonic balancer is loose, or the...
Can you scan and post what info you have as pics? Or maybe someone here could convert the the info to PDF form. How much for the data, and mail to zip 44875?
Do the A3's have a different ratio gearset? I always wondered how they had any road speed, with a slower rpm motor, and I thought they...
You got a lot more snow than I have Baja, Columbus is getting nailed. Mansfield has got maybe 3 inches. Not taking my duece out until the snow gets DEEP. Too much salt on the roads at the moment. Looks like a good time!
I need to find another place to hang my big chain, lost my hanging spot...
I think so, I didn't add the hinge to the winch PTO shift lever. The engagement lever on the winch itself also has a hinge lockout. Didn't bother with it on the dump lever, maybe in the future if I end up bumping it in gear.

Glad you figured out the login Spicergear.
Well I finally got my dump done. Used a heavy push pull throttle cable for the up and down valve, mounted it next to the drivers door. Made up a lever for the PTO engagement and put it next to the winch PTO handle. Bolted the lift to the bed with...
My truck has the overdrive.... Anyone else? :)
I think all the multi-fuels have the overdrive tranny. Some gassers might have it also, would improve the top speed on a gasser. Multi's redline at 2600 rpm, not sure about the gassers, maybe 3500 to 4000?
It has crossed my mind. Adding another valve and a set of quick connects wouldn't be that hard. Not sure about running a log splitter, seems like overkill to use a duece. Maybe run a snow plow?
Dennis
Got the hoses installed, filled up the tank, and made the bed go up and down. Working on the cable for the valve. Going to use what I have laying around, have some old lawn mower cables that should work, and a choke cable out of an old truck.
I had a problem with my CJ2A tracking before, I had adjusted the steering box to tight. Once I back the adjustment on the box of some, it tracked great.
Did you flip the rear hubs for the 11.00's? I looked the space behind the tires to the springs, and thought 11.00's would rub without flipping the hubs.
