The M135's have the differential that drops out of them like the Ford 9" rears do...similiar to the Rockwells but they drop out the front or rear of the axlehousing not the top like the standard Rockwell housings that we have in your deuce trucks.
They run the front backwards. That can be...
I'm not sure the size of that kitchen trailer but i saw in another post that some guys may be heading past there to Gilbert. I can't grab anything big right now but if you can put a favor on credit with someone you can stage that thing at my farm as long as you need. I'm 40 mins NE of...
How about a turbo with only 3-6psi? Ought to give another 100#tq huh? Maybe save some bread and get a big cam 350 or 400 Cummins...may even be able to find one with a Jake on it--
RE: Re: RE: Transmission noise
I have a 3053A in my big M715 behind a 427 Chevy TD. I've put all kinds of miles on that daily driving for a while, trip to Ft. Meade, LBL Kentucky...all over northeast. It's been in that truck like 6 or 7 years now. 3rd-4th is the only shift that could inprove...
I have a stock, but recored and banded, radiator in my 'A2 infront of my 1160 Cat. The 1160 is the predecessor to the 3208. Same block and heads...different injector pump and front housing--to keep it simple. Mine is also the 225hp NA engine so it's making that hp without any boost and it has...
RE: Re: RE: 251 marine engine
On other marine engines, chevrolet for example, they take out the chain drive for the timing set and replace it with a gear set that allows the crank to turn reverse rotation but still allow all the other jazz (oil pump, distributor, cam and valve train) to run its...
I would render the thing still usable. No pitting is great- the discoloration is prolly just the 'stain' leftover from the rust etching, so to speak, the gear. the m37 should be soft enough on power to not have that be much a concern.
Good to see that project is moving right alone...no pun intended. My white and blue toy runs atf in the six speed...that tranny runs a 50% overdrive- maybe some notes to be taken there.
Did you happen to pop the top off that other 3053 and see what was clinking?
RE: Re: UPS
That store I'm not too fond of. Had a big block chevy marine heat exchanger to send to a buddy in California. Buddy supplied the shipping account number to ship it under and the guy at THAT store wouldn't let me use the shipping account number because he wouldn't make anything on it.
The PennDot website is actually not too bad as far as user friendliness- Here's a registration to weight break down-

Prolly around 3 ton right off the deck. The limiting factor is the truck not the crane. Have seen them ship mounted with nearly double the capacity ratings on the same crane.
Not sure about Rausch Creek. Would like to bring...
