I was out looking things over and it does look like there might be enough room under the cab but over the batts. I'll just have to wait till I get my hands on the complete exhaust to see if I need to make some cuts and custom bends to fit.
Ive thought of that but I just dont like the look of that battery box on the side of the truck. I like the current step and boxes. I think I can place a driverside tool box on the pass side and just run the exhaust thru it and maybe put the batteries in the new tool box where the second tank...
Ive got to quit looking at stuff like this. I need to sell my 715 to finance other projects, but I want to keep it and put some swampers on it so badly.
M715s are such a good looking truck when slightly modified.
M900 series exhaust on M809 truck. + a tool box
I'm thinking of putting the exhaust stack off a 900 on my M818. Anyone ever done it or seen it? It looks like it would pass thru where the batteries are now.I can relocate those easy enough. I know I would have to remove the second fuel tank, I...

I doubt you'll hurt the bearings if you run around empty or nearly empty. Those bearings were designed to carry the truck+10,000lbs down the highway. If you run dished in on un-flipped hubs you'll only bring the rear track inwards about a 3/8"s +/- .

Best advice is to get some coffee, tea, glass of milk, what ever you like and sit down and spend a day reading the "deuce" forum.
67-71 are all going to be M35a2 trucks. The a3 didnt come around till early 90's.
A2's are all manual trans. A3 have the autos.
M35's...
