Found in a pile of parts today, the license plate for the front of the Division Roadmasters truck!
The plate has DIVISION ROADMASTER in bold black letters on it. This plate would look great on a CUCV with a light kit.....
I live between two Marine bases here, with REAL roadmasters running up and...

I would not know, I have owned several tow bars, but never had the chance to use one. I got the adapters at a DRMO sell. They were brand new and in a lot, I just wanted one set. So, I passed the savings on to the forum.

I have one remaining set of the adapters that go on the axle for towing. $75 plus shipping from NC.
Thanks to every one who bought a set from me....I can now walk on that side on the garage.

I know on a M35 series truck you can look at the axles for build dates to find out what year your truck was made. Were would you look on a M813 to find out the year it was made?
Also, where is the serial number stamped?
the data plates are no help on this truck that my friend just got.
thanks...
I have two of them, WC63s. One is a parts unit. If you can get it for under a grand, you are doing great. The bed on it will bring that in a heart beat. They are very fun trucks.

If you ever make it up the road to North Carolina, stop in. I have 3 military fire trucks, plus military fire extengusers, to include a Pre WWII flight line extenguser.
I spent 16 of my 20 years in Crash fire rescue in the Marines. I am trying to get one of my fire trucks up and restored now for...

We are getting ready to deep six a motor that, I was told came off a generator. It is painted flat green, so it is military. The only thing I can find so far is a little sticker that has:
ONAN
0160D-L/ 10399A
Does any one know what the motor goes to? It looks new.

At one of the training areas at Fort Jackson, SC, there was about 6 M38A1 jeeps. This was in 1977. Same way, looked like you could just start them and drive off. I was SOOOOO tempted, but I had already signed up with the Marines and did not need Grand Theft Auto on my record.

go to armysurpluswarehouse.com they have the douple rifle holder for 9.95, with the bracket that Ken is talking about. It is two rifle holders, a super deal, why pay douple for one? I have bought several of the kits from them. They are very friendly to deal with.

In the "old Corps" they used soap to slide the top through the track. I have tried it and it works also.
*no more comments about "vasiline and tight places", in the photos you can see you are scaring the dog.
