Re: RE: Re: RE: Winter is coming...winterizing ideas
Where did you plumb your heater into? I have a tankt heater that I am going to install and want to know where yours is setup.
the crankshaft issues are NOT related at All to the manual transmission. a bad/worn out harmonic damper on the front of the engine will cause the crankshaft issues.
RE: brakes
after driving for a few miles, are either of the front hubs hot?
I would suspect either a caliper or a brake line issue. both are pretty cheap to fix.
I am running Dean Reed's metal beadlock inserts, he's a vendor on pirate4x4. great guy and his product rocks.
I am running 38.5x14.5 tires on my truck and have had no issues whatsoever.
also put the front axle put up on jackstands, and check for play in the hub bearings, if the wobble goes away when you hit the brakes it might be a bearing that needs to be retorqued/replaced.
please take lots of pics, a few other members are looking into doing this. It would be ever better if you could take some pictures and measurements of the bracket you are attaching the pump to the engine with.
gimpy, its for a cucv, DUH.
They dont have the 3-lever switch. they have two switches located on the lower left of the dash, just under where the headlight knob is.
