I would return the starter for replacement. Sounds like a dead spot.

Mine all works. I have a seal or two on one axle that needs replacing,have axle venting. Fact is they aren't perfectly balanced so you'll always have some vibration, depending on the road too it's more or less noticeable. Good luck, Hope it's not a bad bearing. Expensive!

Is it violent? You'll have some shimmy from all that crap on the wheels. This isn't your dad's station wagon. I believe I've heard the term death wobble driving a deuce..... Other than that, time to check bearings and all the suspension components. These things shake. Part of the thrill factor...

I got the plates exchanged, good to go now till feb next year. The Y plates they gave me are noncommercial 21,000# sticker(registered for 19,200). Happy for that cause I could already see getting stopped and harassed with commercial plates not being a commercial enterprise. All good. Ironic...
