Apparently the dopes in St. Paul don't know what they are doing. They had my a3 plated with 1 ton plates, no they're telling me to surrender them, wrong plates. What plates will I get? This is not a commercial vehicle or venture, do they give you some other plate I don't know about or do they...
Got it on the road last week. Trans was leaking a little, took it in for gasket and filter replacement. Turns out its the seal....errrrrr. Just got done fixing the backwindow, regulator and sash, now this. They're estimating 900 to do it. Sound about right? I really don't want to pull it myself.
I'm trying to get a 5ton myself, but the prices have gone insane. When I bought my deuce about 5 months ago, they went for 3-5K, Nice 5tons went for 2500-3100. Last auction near here the two 5 tons went for 5,000-6500!!!!!
Thanks, I'm having the same problem. My M1009 came with a sign not to open window. Found out why. The sash was all bent up at the bottom of the door, window was riding on the two teflon circles. Gear was partially stripped on the regulator. crank was all messed up. Fixed the crank.
Bought a new...
Is this a trick question? Or are the A2's different than the A3's? Buzzer and lights on the A3 are dependant on the accessory switch. Starting the vehicle is dependant on the accessory switch. Is there no accessory switch on A2's? What am I missing here?
I too would like a definitive here. I just replaced the glow plugs(Ac13's) due to long crank times with 60G's, I did not bypass the resistor bank, it is working wonderfully. It was 9 degrees, It lit off less than 5 seconds of cranking.
Couldn't you tell if a glowplug or plugs are going bad by...
AFAIK they will not be 24V. They will be reduced to 12V. I just replaced mine not 5 hours ago with the 60G's. was taking me a good 12-15 seconds of cranking to get the engine started. I got all 8 replaced, wait light is a little bit longer, starts IMMEDIATELY! Surpassed my expectations. It's sub...
Should I just replace them all to be on the safe side? I mean it's not that spendy at $65 or so. Another must do? My wait light seems to be work properly, longer when colder but still hard starting, lots of starter time. I see guys saying their engine just lights right off, mine takes a good 10...
I really hate cutting perfectly good wires and harness.... Just wanted 16 times to make sure this is a good thing. Just got done. Doghead your "name" will live on.
Thanks for humoring me Doghead, I seriously didn't mean any disrespect, just wanted to make sure this was necessary, I suck at...
