Bear76, with the new springs it rides maybe a little firmer, but nicer. Under load there is no arc to the new front springs. The OEM springs neg arc under load..
The blazers' short wheelbase makes for a choppy ride anyway. A full tank of fuel helps smooth the rear though.

Not yet Chuck. Dismantled everything, frame included. Frame has been sanded and painted. Fuel tank removed, flushed, stripped and painted. All frame and fuel related components are cleaned and/or painted and are ready to be put back together. Should be ready to set the engine this weekend. Also...
FYI. I've got a couple 3kw gensets (60hz) that I'm refurbishing, and the glass sediment bowls needed the screen and rubber seal replaced. I found a replacement kit at Tractor Supply Co. (TSC). They are a perfect fit.

How are the hinge pin bushings? They are usually the first to go. Is there play in the hinges when you lift them up and down. A bushing kit is available at most auto parts stores.
