I added a mechanical temp gage so far. I mounted it just to the left of the factory volt meter. It's the same dia gage and fits perfect there, and looks factory. You can splice the gage light into the light for the voltmeter.
Mounting the sender is easy too. On the inside rear of the heads...
RE: Re: RE: Trailer lights needed
Thanks, ordered a set from Saturn. Missed them the first time I looked on their site.
They are my favorite supplier of parts. Jay always takes the time to answer questions, they've got fair prices, and have consistent, super fast shipping.
I would like to...
Need the rear tail lights complete for my M101. Memphis has them (composite), SUPER EXSPENSIVE! I'd like the larger, later style. Metal would great, but composite is fine.
I'm sure somebody has a nice set laying around.
Who else besides Memphis would carry nos?
Thanks
Thanks. I checked it out and they show a '4' for the 1.5T trailer, nothing for the 3/4T. I don't have the fm for it. Anyone know what it should be?
Thanks
I'm restoring an M101 and upon removing the layers of paint on it, I found the yellow, circular weight class marking on the right hand side. I couldn't make out the number on it, but want to put it back after it's repainted. What is the standard number for the 3/4T M101 trailer? Thanks
Help! Where is this VR located? I have an mep-017 5Kw genset, and the manual says it is behind the lower acces panel, under the panel with the gages. Mine looks nothing like that. Do they have different vr's that were used?
RE: hardtop project
Very nice job Walt! Good looking truck!
All you need is an A/C unit mounted on the roof of the cab and you'll be all set for the hot humid FL summers... :)
Hey Brian. You bet I'll be at the Clare show. Looking forward to driving the M1009 up, sounds like a lot of fun. Lane came down yesterday to pick up his trailer and the GP medium, and told me of some other shows too. The Grayling color tour sounds like fun too.
