got some links for that? i'd be interested in checking it out. also, this sounds like something for second gen cummins, not 3rd. russ' has an '03 as a donor and the stock turbo (IIRC) is an HE351, or similar. i don't believe that they used hx35's after 2nd gens.
also, from what i've read...
Got my 'shift' key fixed - thank the good Lord!!!!!
Seriously? What - are you "ransoming" site and user improvement until each and every member proves that they can use proper grammar, punctuation, and capitalization? Really? That's more important to you than the users of this site? Maybe...
what about this:
block up the tongue/kingpin to support the trailer
get a new jack handle
jack landing gear up
use 4x6's under the landing gear as "ski's"
(cut an angle at the nose of each 4x6 = ski)
run a chain from each ski to the front of the trailer to keep ski under each landing gear foot...
wow - amazing response from a site moderator.
so, we don't want to make a single better thread by adding a few pictures that's easier to use? why? wouldn't that make more sense to use an existing thread on the current site? if someone searches the topic, this thread will already come up...
can someone who has all the pictures from the linked threads post up the photos of the fuel rod adjustment (and maybe the other method as well)? a lot of the other/older threads (using search) no longer have the pictures attached, and i believe there may have been several that were very...
any second now, someone's going to get on here and say "i have no idea why that happened, NDTs are the bestest tire in the world. i never get stuck w/ my NDTs. you must've been using them wrong."
sorry to hear about your ordeal. i've had days like that: we had 3 818s w/ loaded...
it's fuel, not a catalyst. a catalyst initiates or accelerates a reaction. propane doesn't make the fuel burn better or faster - it's just more fuel [and more egts]. if you add more fuel, you still need more air to burn it.
also, unless it's injected into the intake charge in it's liquid form...
out of curiosity, what would be the motivation for using propane? from what i've read, the injection pump is already capable of being turned up past what the stock engine can take so there wouldn't be a need for propane simply for power gains.
typically you only need to go to 'pane when you...
well, that dude is completely wrong. turbo whistle is created by the design of the turbine and compressor wheels. most cases, the turbine wheel is what is so pronounced.
need proof? first year of the 6.0 powerstroke ('03) are the "whistlers." the next year hardly any whistle at all. the...
many times more than what a general m35a2 would cost. $5k. $7.5k $10k? more? i think it depends on how many are on the auction and how bad someone wants one.
