I would say not a good idea. A solvent will do wonders to the injection pump. The DB2 pump is kinda a pile of **** as is and will degrade all on its own. Most CUCV's owners will be replacing pumps in the first 20K miles as is. I would stick with diesel and WMO and that is about all.

When the engine is cold enough to cause the glow plugs to come on it starts right up in a second or less. the only times I have problems are when it sits for a while after it has been hot.
