well first of all you need one chain per tie down point. you can not use one chain for both.. that is a huge FED no no. but you got the crossing of the tie downs correct.
Good luck. Really its going to be ezer to build the truck you want. LDS's are out there in a deuce but not too many. If you Really do want a deuce like you stated..... Talk to Gimpyrob. he is in your town and can build you one.
so what happens when you flex the springs? does the arm go in to the engine? I think you need to rethink your steering set up. If its going to hit the pan something is not correct.

:tin hat:are tensions really that bad with china? I really dont think they will provoke anything... They cant build all that crap with out the USA... Where do you think 85% scrap metal and most of our wood goes?
If the fiberglass is all fraying out then you need to sand it down and apply a gel coat or (what I use on tops) just the liquid mix from a bondo fiberglass kit. Let it harden for a day and sand it like body filler, prime and paint. If the top has some Major damage you will have to cut it out...
