    Crazy about the new M-ATV

Doubt that any have been made in woodland camo, since they are designed for wartime use in the Middle East. Last I checked there are barely any trees over there where the action is, and unless war is declared in Europe, Korea, or within the borders of the United States, I doubt you'll see any...

    Purpose of wood bed spacer

I guess if it was metal to metal there would be a lot more squeaking going on when you flex.... I think today a material like Delrin would be an excellent choice for a replacement, but Delrin is very expensive. Rubber I think would be okay, but might "grab" too much.

    Purpose of wood bed spacer

Just curious - what is the purpose of the wood spacer that goes between the frame rails and the bed on the deuce? For the life of me, I don't see a purpose in it being there, it looks like it's presence would soak up moisture and lead to rust in that area (or at least wood rot), more so than...

DH, next time I go to Colemans, I can look to see if the junker wrecker bodies in the back have that extension on them. Here's pics of the ones he has:

What was your first Modification to your 5 ton?

First mod I did to my truck? Put a Coke-style bottle opener on the front of the bed, just next to the driver's side door. That way, I can crack open a cold one right after getting to the rally. Bada bing.

to fuze or not to fuze - rat's nest issues

Have a rat's nest of electrical wire on the front of the firewall, I believe it is the source of all my light problems. Thanks to splitters and a lot of bubbafications, the previous user of my truck had about 5 things running off of 2 fuze blocks. That's why I believe my turn signals, warning...
