when i bought my m35a2 parts mobile (was still in running order) i picked it up the next week of the auction close and drove it back home 5 hours away. The only problem is there are just not that many MV that are worth buying other than for parts.

www.govsales.gov won a m35a2 for parts there before, they typically did not go through a overhaul like the military did but if you want a parts truck you can get one for less than $500.

$6,200 i have been watching and bidding on the a3's in Las Vegas on GL, but this one is close to me saving about 500 in transportation costs. so it was worth it to pay a little more than on GL, no 10% to GL, sales tax, euc....etc. so in the end i think i did ok.

my parts m35 has "self locking handles" i dont know if they should, but they do. I have to leave the window down to get in? i dont like them at all.
