ATTENTION NEWBIES- This thread is required reading for all new members (all 28 pages). Study up, we're going to have a test next week.
I've had this engine sitting in my shed for years. The shed blew down so I've been thinking about robbing some parts and sending it to the scrap yard.
I've had another member show interest in the turbo to go on a NH250. The data plate is missing so I have no idea what size it is or anything. I...
The main reason for the rule (if I remember correctly) is to keep the arguments down. While a high percentage of members have strong beliefs in second amendment rights (myself included) there are some here that don't. They didn't want the forum to turn into arguments over guns and such. That...
The switch should have power on it all the time (just like the three lever). I'm unsure of which pin is the power wire. I will say to be careful if you go to prodding wires and such. These things are real sensitive to voltage spikes and grounding issues.
The first thing I'd do would be to stick...
I've got one. Was the first MV I owned. It's still got the Tornado engine that's old and tired but it just won't die. I say buy it if the price is good.
If you pushed the buttons and nothing lit up and you are sure the switch has power going to it, it's toast. Pushing any of the buttons will cause the blue LED lights to light up on the face on a working switch.
Frodo, I've got one that's been awfully hot that a may would part with.
I have popped dents out of tanks before using air pressure. It won't take out a crease though and you have to be really careful to not blow the tank up. Fuel tanks won't take much pressure (less than 10psi).
Personally, I believe I'd just try and find another tank.
I guess I'm not getting the concept. How are you going to join the two cabs if one is wider than the other? What would be the advantage of doing this? The pic I have in my head doesn't look good.
Well, you've got a leak somewhere. That fluid didn't disappear. I'll agree no brakes are pretty common on a deuce but when the pedal goes to the floor you've got problems somewhere.
I'd either have him fix it or budget in some brake repairs.
My advise is to price your truck for what you want to get out of it. It will either sell or it won't. You can start your price high and come down until somebody buys it. That, my friend, will be what it's worth. Then you can tell us what the going price is for a A3. It's worth what somebody is...
I've hauled some pretty sizable loads with a M818 but it was just local (less than 20 miles). It did it ok. I wouldn't want to haul a big load across the state. The main thing that hurts the M818 is the trans. The gear spaces are really too far apart to stay within the Cummins torque curve. I...
