Thanks, even though you did ban me, LOL.
Will have all my alternators rebuild and ensure they use the isolated ground on them.
Hopefully I only fried the two wires leading to the block. I'll replace the one wire leading to the battery. I'll splice, solder and heat shrink the one going...
Are you f'ing s'ing us? Is this thread a joke??? I'd run away from this deal soooo fast my feet wouldn't touch the ground under my 300 pound slinder build!!!!!
If it has too much play it will squeal and then usually stop after a minute or so. It would reappear if you turn the steering wheel if it is on that belt.
Some photos of my wonderful work frying my system last night. Am I good or what. I think the alternator was the wrong type or not of the negative ground type.
What have I done with my CUCV lately?
Well, I killed the electrica system this evening. How's that for good work. REplaced the alternator, hooked up the negative and poof, sparks, smoke from the engine side of the firewall...
Because Doghead is in my Doghouse for 40 days and 40 nights he will post from TM 9-2320-289-20P figure 32 and pages 32-1 and Index page I-109 so you can see what I'm talking about below.

What the heck are you people talking about!? It shows that none of you have ever been in the military and have NO clue as to what you are talking about.
What it is is a warning abbreviation to the less than stellar but they left the I out NLOIFUS (No Loafing or I'll F*&^ yoU, Sh!7head)...
Yes and no. It is the last location that the vehicle was loaded into the maintenance registration program. If they didn't load it, it might not be the last unit. As for local (non-military) service, no idea.
Short?!
LOL, I sat in a T55, more than once and my feet are on the gunners peddles and my butt is in the CDR's seat and my head is out of the hatch.
As for BRDM2, my experience with the last one that got near me was met with the wrong end of an AT4.
Thanks DH. I unloaded a ruck full of feelings on a fellow member earlier today. The entire problem is multifaceted and includes the lack of donations being the biggie and probably next in line is.....well, not feeling the love. We'll leave it at that.
And again, as has always been the case, the information on how to donate is at the bottom of each of my posts. It is a hot link to make it very simple.
