This is the trailer with my M880 on it, same M880 from the fall color tour
The M882 is out of service and I haven't wired the M880 for the trailer yet.
If you guys need it for the transport, no problem.Yet it'll probably cost more than $50 in gas to come & get it :?
This weekend is...
RE: Interesting...
Hey I bid on that truck!!!!! ( Only about 1/3 rd of what it went for though)
Is it a 70 front??????????? Not a 60? ( I'm no expert) I did look at it through the fence thanksgiving weekend. Mirrors seemed to be olive drab, I have seen many of this type of truck used on...
RE: towing
I towed one of these with a tow bar, once. If it is a ridgid tow bar, forget it (Unless yer using Daves tractor [thumbzup] )
Too much front end weight, it would drag the rear end (of the tow vehicle) out on turns.

Well I got my reply today.
Said they don't have any M36's
I guess I shouldn't have assumed they had one just because it is listed for sale on their web site.

Re: RE: M880 Troop Seats
Good observation!
I have seen several CUCV's with the M880 sets at Camp Grayling, the shorter leg still contacts the floor and supports weight, but is not correct.
While I haven't seen the CUCV set on a M880, this is nothing a sawzall wouldn't take care of
Yes those would be the M880 series seats, they are interchangeable with the CUCV's, although the CUCV's got aluminum slats instead of the wood. (if not when 1st produced, then somewhere down the line.)
I have found my NOS seat bottom, the guy I got it from had searched long and hard, He did find one NOS seat back after about 2 years, if he does find any more he will let me know.
I guess I should reprhase that, If he finds more than 2 more he will let me know.
