Perhaps the aftermarket inline pump is failing. I'm not sure what the pre IP fuel pressure/flow specs are, but might be worth checking to rule out the pump performance.

I had a 1008 that would do that occasionally. A couple wacks with the hammer to the starter and it would work fine!

That would be GREAT Mike! The one that says it runs looks to have a rotted rocker on the pass side. The other seems solid from the pic. I'm looking for the one with the best body and if they are complete. My buddy and I would be coming out to tow it back if we win one. We'll have to stop and see...

So by not providing an SF97 with the vehicle, GL washes its hands totally of the occasional error/problem, even though now it will make it that much harder for the buyer to title the vehicle with just an invoice. Yet another kick in the arse to the consumer..........

Update: Took #1 gen in for a test and rebuild, it was shot, no output. Had it totally rebuilt. Brought in #2 and it still had output but had it rebuilt anyways. They were both the original gens and had never been opened up. There was 74K mi. on them. They are much quieter when running now and...

There is an Interstate Battery warehouse/distributer near me where I get 6TL's from. Check with someone that carries Interstate batts., they should be able to order them for you. I think I pay around $110 each.
