If you have it shipped through Kansas on the way back, I need something picked up from BRtrucks. PM me if this is possible and we can work something out. I am only about 45 minutes from you jeepguy. Thanks!
Man, we are getting a lot of guys from Michigan on this site!
I've got one of those ignition switch locks too. Came on the truck.
Chuck, I think your truck came from the same place as mine. 38 146FSB.
Mine hinges the other way though. You can see it in the picture.
I had to use the blackout lights on my old 1008 for a covert deer recovery operation once... they worked good.
I especially like the no brake light feature. :)
I also had the red "danger" arrow on my tach originally. Couldn't find another red one when I restored the gages, but RL had the white danger arrow, along with the yellow and red stickys for the speedo.
Mike, you mean a problem with my gen 1 (left/drivers side), since it's my left light that is on. I pulled the gen 1 today and will take it in for a check tomorrow. What should the outputs be on these generators? Are they both the same?
Kenny, did you check the printed circuit 'board' in the back of the instrument panel that the light connects with for any breaks/shorts? Is the bulb holder making a good connection to that? I've seen those get pretty corroded.
Which is the #2 side? The left side gen light on my 1009 has a dull glow to it. They are both on when I start it, but after a tap on the throttle, the right side goes out, and the left goes to a low glow. What could be the cause? Belt, ground, nothing to worry about?
69 degrees.... you're killing me. :)
After out January thaw, it's now in the teens again and we're back to walking on water up here!
A little green and blue would be great.
