I'm with gimpy on this one. Pulling the spline cap is equal to pulling the front shaft. The transfer will be in 6x6 mode but won't low to bind because there is no resistance on the front output. It will always go the same speed as the rear. What part of Louisiana are you stuck in?

What about flipping the 5 ton hubs, is that the same process as the deuce, and the studs, big rig shop or hemtt studs?

Another option would be longer studs in the rear and flipping the wheels or use the bud studs. I just don't know if the bud studs alone over the studs then the wheel on the buds would be good.
