Op, you would know if it was a positive ground or isolated ground.
The fact that the - cable goes from the battery to the frame is a dead give away.
99.99% of all military and civilian vehicles are negative ground.
I second the baffling of the tank, even a poly tank the size of the bed not baffled can slosh pretty good and I know from first hand experience how easy those trucks are to spin. Luckily it didn't roll, just did a really awesome 360 on route tampa in Iraq causing my OIC to need a change of undies.
Inverter and equalizer are two completely different things.
An equalizer is used to balance the battery system when the 12v side is being discharged at a greater rate than the 24v side and it charges the 12v side to keep them balanced.
An inverter takes a voltage, increases it or decreases...
Yeah that's way to low. Even if you got it up to 12v it won't hold it for long.
Plate are discharged to much.
I've heard about using epson salt and distilled water to bring them back to life but 1.8 is a really big AA.

The battery disconnect is on the 12v side.
Most of the electronics in the truck are 12v, and yes the 12v alternator just charges the 2 batteries while the 24v one charges the 24v side.
When you have a lot of stuff that pulls on the 12v side the batteries become unbalanced. You can solve this...
