I have a valid question.....FT are you really going to do this swap? Seams to me that the cost of the trans and Controller and assorted parts would over come the cost of a A3 from GL. There are a lot of them that go for under 5K. You could sell your Junker deuce and buy a A3 and would come out...
they dont leak if you install the with a little Grease or if you really want them to seal use BLUE RTV, but if you have to get them apart its a BI&CH! The grease works well. I have one tire that I have not had to add air in 3 years. The others I check before I take it out and have to add some...
huge oil cooler and huge exhaust flow. That is the only cooling of that engine. The oil used is TRUE synthetic man made oil. Not the junk you get at the auto parts store. The only other engine that uses man made oil is Jet turbines. That oil cost around 100 a quart. I have one quart that I have...
Just take off the A3 rims and put on M34 (super single split ring) or stock dual deuce rims. If you want to convert the A3 rim all you need is a couple brass fittings. Its not a hard change over, just look at the rim and see what you need. GIJoezcar did that to one of his A3's while he was...

glow plugs will be a problem. You will have to remove the resistor on the fire wall, also the volt gauge will not function any more. And along with all the other electrical problems that will pop up.. Have fun.
Changing over to 12V is not recommended

yes my 8k car trailer loaded up with a M1008 and a set of 11:00 NDCC tires the brakes sure can lock up. IF there adjusted correctly and in good working order.
Now if you had a 5 ton it would not be a problem. I haul my 5k pound camper all over the place and I can not tell its even back there. The 2.5 ton brakes are not that much larger then the rear of a M1008 (1 ton pick up) If you tow much more then a couple thousand pounds your going to feel it big...
You people do know that the Injection pump is lubricated by engine oil right? Running ULSD will not harm a thing. The Darn Injection pump was designed to have used gasoline as a fuel. About the only thing that will harm the pump is contaminants such as dirt, sand, metal shavings/filings. The...
hmm... looks like there not good enough.. we have a load of video we are still trying to down load. There should be one in there that would work better. We keep working on it.
