    Can a M915A1 pull a M920?

The only way I would do it is to have somebody riding in the M920 to take control if something goes wrong. Having somebody back there presents it's own set of legal questions but this is the safest way to do it. The problem is if the M920 decides to turn or not straighten up comming out of a...

    New Decking for M870A1

I just checked out the link about apitong flooring. Their price is over $3.50 a board foot . What were you priced white oak? As I said above, I bought some last week for $0.80 a board foot directly from the sawmill. That price was for green unfinnished wood though.

    New Decking for M870A1

We use white oak on all of our trailers. We've had trailers with apitong and I wasn't impressed. Apitong is good but it's not the wonder wood alot of people selling it make it out to be. We bought some white oak last week to floor a trailer for $0.80 a board foot. I haven't priced apitong...

    Deuce Injector Return lines

That's kind of what I tought after looking at it. That's what I was kind of getting at in my first post. The new lines look great and I'm sure are as good or better than OEM but after looking at all those shiny new fittings and all the time spent putting it all together, I knew it was going to...

    Deuce Injector Return lines

I know you can buy a crimper and the crimps at most welding supply stores. It appears to be the same crimp that is put onto gas hoses for cutting and welding.

    Deuce Injector Return lines

I was under the impression from reading your original post that you were making these kits to sell. :?

    Deuce Injector Return lines

I've got to ask, why do you think these hoses and fittings are better than the stock setup or DOT tubing? I'm in no way doubting your work. I'm just wondering why you went this route. I guess what I'm asking is for you to sell me on your setup.

    Old gasoline

I used to run aviation gas in my pulling tractor because if it's high octane (I think it was 100 octane). That was until I was told by several people that it was hard on my engine. They say it's a very "dry" gas and is hard on the rings of regular engines. I have no idea if this is true or not...

    Old gasoline

So you're saying the new ethanol gas won't last as long? I haven't heard that. Guess that's just another wonderful side effect of ethanol gas. I have yet to see any advatages other than helping the corn farmers (through government subsidies, of course). There's some crazy law on the books in TN...

    Deuce air ride seat conversion

Around here all UPS trucks and trailers have to be destroyed. The local scrap yard gets them in and not so much as a bolt can be removed. An inspector watches the destruction to make sure. They also cut the tires to where they can't be used (most of them near new). UPS will give the government...

    Deuce air ride seat conversion

I was just throwing it out there. I thought $400 would be too high but I thought I post it and see. That's what I figure it would cost me by the time I bought the bag and made all the components to make it a bolt in project. I think I'm still going to convert mine. I'll post up pics and how I...

    Deuce air ride seat conversion

I've been looking at converting my spring seat to air-ride (converting the factory seat). I think I've got it figured out how to install an air bag in the place of the spring. If I get this figured out and can make up a conversion kit to convert to air-ride, I've been thinking of maybe selling...

Why list an item with no price?

I've been known to not post a pic for new parts. I figure "just picture a pic of your busted part, but new". It's only small stuff like seals and such though.

    Steel Soldiers nametapes

I think you knew the answer before you ever posted. ;-) I'd buy a few if they ever became available but I'm not holding my breath.

Series instrument light wiring, how to ?

No. You will run the 24v to the "+" on the first light. You will run the "-" from the first light to the positive on the second. You will run the "-" on the second light to ground. This is how my pyro and boost gauge lights are wired.

    CUCV - Slantback

To the oringinal topic, I really don't see all the fascination with a slantback M1009. Sure it looks kind of cool but all I see is a M1009 that won't haul as much cargo in the back. What are the andvantages of a slantback other than "looking kind of cool"? To each his own I guess.

Anybody ever use railroad to get GL buy home

I deal with people every day that move a bunch of freight. Most have tried the railroad but have either done away with it completely or it is very limited. The stories I hear is the railroad (CSX) is just so hard to deal with. I do know it's not very fast to get something moved by rail and...

    CUCV - Slantback

We try and not start multiple threads on the same subject. The correct thing to do is to post in the original thread if you wanted to comment on it and not start a new thread.

    Multifuel engines in shipping containers

I've removed several engine and trans together and it was about all a 6,000lb forklift wanted (due to the lift point being so far out). If you're going to use a bobcat it better be a big one. I know our New Holland LS170 won't do it.
