    24V impact wrenches..

Same here. It's not used often, but worth its weight in gold when it is.

    Progress on the restoration

Amen to that! The actual spraying is the fun part.

    Cold weather start

Bjorn, if you have room on the firewall above the column, you could always mount it horizontal too. Paul

What tools to bring to DRMO to check fluids before removal?

Ida34, You're the guy! Now I know where to get troop seats, ignition switch, and batteries from. hehe I bid on that one. Stopped at 1400. Decided to take a chance and go with this one as I wanted the dropside box anyway for the one I already have. Got it for even less. They said running...

What tools to bring to DRMO to check fluids before removal?

ida34, which one did you get at Selfridge? I'm picking one up there this week.

    Cold weather start

Bjorn, the cannister is on the firewall. I've seen them mounted to the underside of the hood before too. This is a GL picture of the truck. You can also see the coolant sensor up by the heater hose.

    Cold weather start

Ether injection is now operational. The sensor you showed above Bjorn, was in place, but found a break in the wire. None of the other wires were connected. The injector line was nylon and it had been pinched in a number of places. I replaced all of that with copper. Cleaned the nozzle in the...

    Boost and EGT

Nice! I was wondering how that was suspended.

    Cold weather start

So I'm guessing tee into the wire on the coolant sensor (there is a loose wire hanging next to it in addition to the one that runs from the sensor to the gage) or do I need a separate sensor? Connect one wire from switch to the 'bottle release valve', and 24v feed to the switch? I'm going by...

    Cold weather start

Does anyone have the wiring diagrams or know the connections for the ether injection hook up? My truck came with everything mounted including a full bottle of ether on the firewall, but the wires are not hooked up. Looks like one might hook up to the coolant sensor? The injection nozzle is...

    Boost and EGT

Pappa-G, Grease my hubs when I see you on Saturday and I'll give you one! :) Adjust my brakes and I'll give you the transfercase boot too. (Soldier "B" with white shirt on standing in trailer, aka Pappa-G)

    Boost and EGT

Thanks Bjorn. Yes, 'lugging' bad. Wrong choice of words, meant to say 'hauling'.

    Boost and EGT

Here is a pic of my turbo boost and EGT gage set-up. Thanks Bjorn for the tip on Hewitt. They were very helpful. I spent some time with them on the phone specing out gages and thermocouples to match the engine requirements, etc. This was a new application for them as well. They even sent 24v...

    Winch Cover

Yes it is. It's so much easier to get in and out of tight spots when you can see the trailer, especially when there is no 'soldier B'. There is a heavy steel plate behind the pintle for support that I added too.

    I'm Back! (new pics)

Welcome back. I like it, good looking paint, good looking truck. Nice work. You almost never see the dodges anymore, especially here in the north.
