I stopped there this week to pull out the loose items from one I had just won, and saw it briefly. I didn't have the time to inspect it closely, but it doesn't look nearly as good as the pictures.

Ken, I'll keep you in mind, but I'm hanging on to them for now. It also came with the winch, cable, winch brackets, pto shaft, and all shift linkage. THe trans was gone so no PTO, but that's all that is needed to completely convert a w/o w truck.

I have a rust free cab I'm going to sell if anyone needs one. It's all stripped down and I just need to remove it from the chassis yet. Ken is right, it looks pretty straight foreward as far as removing it.

Just curious, looking for feedback/opinions. Which is more desireable by the general public purchasing a Duece? An M35A2 (cargo/troop carrier box), or an M109 (enclosed van box). The latest GL auction in my area showed that the M109's were commanding a higher price than the M35's.

Hey Clinto, someone's bidding on that duece and apparently did not inspect it. It's up to $3.5K with a few hours left. They'll be in for a surprise.

I bought a rebuild from White Owl in NC. No problems with it. The one I replaced had a 5th gear whine. I know what you mean though. It's never a simple part either! It's not like replacing a faulty gas cap! Sh!t happens.
