    Winch Cover

This topic was talked about briefly before the 'big crash of 2005'. Thought I'd post a pic of the cover I got from Weebee Webbing if somebody was looking for a place that makes them. High quality workmanship, heavy mil spec canvas, good people to deal with. I'm not affiliated with them, they...

    Decon Kits

Not to get away from the topic, but here's a poor pic (went to a new place for developing) showing the armor light on the dash. I have it turned on. I used nylon spacers to keep it about 1/8 in. off the dash. I'll get some of just the light next time.

Heated fuel tank project, biodiesel, WVO..

This is the dual fuel gage set-up I mentioned, if anyone is interested. Sorry for the poor quality pic. Anyway, the primary tank is hooked up to the right side gage. When I get the secondary tank in, it will take the place of the spare tire carrier on the left side. There are a couple ways to...

    Decon Kits

I tee'd my light into the #10 wire going to the circuit breaker on the firewall near where the steering column comes out. #10 is a constant elec. supply.

    Decon Kits

The lights are easy to mount. Wish I would have put one in a long time ago. I just mounted one to my dash. All you need is a power lead, it grounds itself. I'm getting some pics developed today of my 'restoration in progress', and I believe I have a pic of the light. I'll post it later.

Sounds like a bad ground on the gages.

    painting a fuel tank

I've had good results treating rust on bare metal prior to painting, with a product called Rust-Mort. As Polverone said, apply, let dry, rinse, let dry, then prime. Just remove the loose rust before applying. After all that paint work, the last thing you want is for the rust to bleed back through.

    Top $$

The hard tops are like a sore peter in the northern winters though. (You can't beat 'em). Ken, you can sell the one you just got on your wrecker (very cool truck by the way), and really give your resto fund a nice boost.

    Top $$

Wow! Wish I had a stack of these to sell at this price. Had no idea they could fetch this kind of $$. I better weld mine on. http://cgi.govliquidation.com/auction/view?auctionId=675480

Heated fuel tank project, biodiesel, WVO..

I did that very same thing to my gage panel in anticipation of adding an auxilary tank. The tank is about ready to be removed from the donor truck. I also added a low air pess. warning light to the center of the panel and disconnected the buzzer. The high beam indicator light is on the far...

And I wonder why the neighbors look at me funny?!?

Another thing I discovered is the soot that pumps out of the stack when it's first started. It looks good on their 'cars'. I always check the wind now when I start it. That pig isn't happy unless she's bitching. I like to make her happy....... (Can ya feel the love.......?)
