What kind of engine will the Suburban provide the M1028? 454ci?

There are some surplus M1061 flatbed trailers coming up for auction - they have 12-14 foot beds on them. Might be a good compromise between a cramped M105 trailer, and a semi. A deuce can handle pulling it, although a little slow on the hills.

Keep an eye on the GSA auction site - M880s come up there often. They are getting old enough now that when they become available in any condition, snatch it up, even if they need some rust repair. The 318ci Dodge plant is hard to kill, and easy to find parts for.

I like the airbag suspension setup. If it suits your purpose, it's not blasphemous. It looks like a professional modification job, to me. The independent suspension makes it perfect for offroading without the worry of hanging up on a rock.
