If it's bigger than his other 5-tons, then this might be a M139 bridge truck. They are still 5-ton, but a big wider and taller, used to carry floating bridge sections. Tires are 14.00x20. It's too small to be a 10-ton.

It's a heavily mutilated M54 series 5-ton. Better be cheap, there ain't much of it left.

I don't know, bud - I see a lot of good parts on there. The front bumper, rims, the brush guards, a myriad of small parts. Guys like us on this site buy stuff and part it out to the last bit to save at least SOME of it for other trucks more worthy of resto. Get a socket set on that Power...

Went to the Timonium hamfest this past weekend in Maryland. There was a gent there from Ontario Surplus, had a picture of a GMC deuce and a half, sign read "FOR SALE IN NE OHIO, $500" He said it ran not long ago, but needs fuel pump and starter work. He says it has typical rust for 60 year...
