it has 4x4-high issues.
I have two spares, but since i will be putting 40" tires on it I want to put in a t-case that will put up with the abuse. Plus, I got a fixed flange NP205 for a steal, and its already been rebuilt. :) :)
I have to change the driveshafts anyways with the lift, so...
I am swapping the NP205 into my m1008, and need to get a hold of the complete shifter ass. from a truck that had it. also would the crossmember from a truck so equiped be a bolt-in item for my swap?

shouldn't the last "<br />" be a "<br>"
what version of firefox are you using?
PM me if you have any further issues, I've been using firefox on this site for a long time now and have yet to find any bad code.
good buy for the money, REMEMBER THAT ITS 24VOLT.
uless its been altered from the military setup. so you will need the batteries wired in series, not parallel.
neither of my gen lights come on with the key, I know they worked a few months ago as they clued me in on the fact that my alt's needed some TLC. My voltmeter started acting funny about 3 o 4 months ago and then finally quit a while back, the truck still charges great.
I've been lazy and haven't...
while you have the heads off, have them checked for warpage. spec says to take off no more then .005 off of them but another member here has taken .009 and .007 off of his. I would try and have them milled the same amount (both milled enough to fix the worst side), it really shouldn't be enough...
I am looking for info on how to go about researching the history of the cucv I have. It still has the bumper numbers on it, I know that the mean something on a duece, but am not sure if its the same on the smaller trucks. (14163) is the number stenciled onto the tailgate of the truck.
you still have two rear wheels on each side of the truck, maybe that is what he was referring to?
I also cant see how you could bend a hub, wreck the inner bearing surfaces yes, but not bend the hub itself.
yes you can run the 24v plugs, for my application I ran a 12v hot from the front battery to power the GP's. That way if I ever need to I would be able to get a repalcement plug from any auto parts store. DEFINITELY GET THE PLUGS FROM SSDIESEL though, either way. His are the best and their...
I don't really know if there would be enough posting traffic to support both forums, it would really just split the traffic in two and force people to look in two places for info. There are many more posts in just the duece hot rodding forum then the cucv forum in its entirety.
