RE: battery for what you pay in civy batts I just got a set of 6TL'S. really double the cost but worth it. they will last twice as long and you can crank FOREVER if need be.

not a intake problem a injection pump problem. the pump tend to go bad after 20 years and only 30k miles on them.

and guys let me tell you this... I am in the Army, we have a "can" point that they stick a punch of old trucks and trailers and we can go in there and take parts off. The GL lot is locked up tight and even I have to call and get the ok to go in and look over the auctions.

prob a good idea, just take it ez.. the cucv's like to bust off the tips on them.

glow plug control card is junk... search the site here about that.. a good way to go is to take the card out and put in a switch so you can turn on and off the glow plugs.

RE: 11.00-20 yes A 11:00 x 20 will fit a deuce rim. all 11:00 x 20's will fit. thats the size, just because the tread is different style don't mean its a different size

our dollys have a lock pin so we can back them.. well the kids try to back them.

the "d" turbo is larger then the exhaust turbine. The "C" is about the same size, exhaust and intake turbines

ok one at a time... type of engine.. who cares there just all about the same. Turbo yes you want one. little more power and lot less smoke. A "C" turbo its really loud and a "D" turbo is not as bad.. about the same power out put. The guys with "D" turbos are weak and cant handle real military...

UPDATE lol as we speak 1150 CST there in the wash... in about a hour we will see how good they come clean. Pot and Pan wash, heated dry, extra soap, and jet dry added.
