NO! there different. you put a m1009 booster on a m1008 and you got weak brakes! you put a m1008 on a m1009 and you will be ejected from the truck. you can not inter change them. The cylinder size is different in them due to the larger brakes on the pick ups.

well I have hauled my M220 on a 35 foot goose neck with my 2500HD and it took it a cool 60 MPH for 350 miles. Was not that bad at all just took it ez. Now I have towed a 5 ton and a Deuce with my deuce and I tell ya its not really fun. I would not tow a deuce for a long trip with anything...

time to get a chilton manual. you will needs tools to take it off and install it the correct way, so not to mess it up. the cucv 6.2 is just like the civy ones (for the most part) so get a book that will cover the engine. 87 and down pick up/blazer book should do fine.

boy.. all my drain plugs are 1/2 drive square. looks like you may need to bring a bunch of tools just in case

well go for it. A piston, sleeve, and gasket set will cost around 500 and dont forget some fluids too
