RE: M151 It used to be that M151s could be cut into four pieces and you get the parts. Then it was you could pull any parts off your wanted, but had to leave the body. Have they been relegated to scrap altogether? Can't even pull the parts off?

Could it be some ordnance related item, I'm guessing, but it could be a gauge for a weapon system, to determine if it's out of spec or if it's good.

That's a very nice trailer you have there! As for the shelter halves, I feel your pain. I sold a pile of them on eBay years ago, $20 per tent (two shelter halves), but I had to round up all the poles, ropes, and stakes to make the tents complete. You might start looking for a source of cheap...

I'd go with an M37, myself. Better availability of parts, and more of a chance that you'd use it as a daily driver. Most WWII vehicles I have seen restored make it to shows, but are essentially trailer queens that never really get used. You'll be more happy with something you use often.

Checked the weather and it looks like crap this weekend up there. Still plan on going, I just hope it's there when I get up there Sat. morning. Be a terrible waste of fuel if it's not. Course, I remember it was pretty crappy weather past couple years too and they still had it.
