Ooo ooo! What auction are the tracked vehicles going to be in???? ;)
A few of those vehicles don't look half bad. Good thin about GSA is that you don't have to put up with any GL BS.
There was one of these trailers in St. Juliens Creek recently, sold for a few thousand dollars. If the buyer had purchased one of the Mk48 units that came out of NC in recent years, he'd have a great little toy to play with!
RE: Any idea what an MK 18 self loading trailer is????
I heard from CGarbee in November that a bunch of older Mk48s and HEMTT type trucks just hit the Ft. Bragg DRMO yard. Not sure if they will find their way to GL side, but thought I would mention it...
Pay just enough so that if it turned out to be a pile of rusty scrap metal, you can get your money back by selling it as rusty scrap metal. My 2 cents.

Well, not new, but it got delivered today. Not sure what name to give it (might have to wait until after I paint it) but for now, Gumby Jr. will do!
She is a 1950 Willys CJ3A. Needs a complete makeover, but I got her running this morning and driving around my neighborhood. Can you say...
RE: Set a date, Haspin 08
I submit my vote for mid to late June. Right around turn of Spring-Summer would be good.
Early June is fine too, but I'd prefer some more time to fix up some vehicles prior to coming to Haspin. That's just me, though.
They used to give it away from the local restaurants here a year or so ago. Now everyone thinks used veggie oil is gold, and, get this, a few local places charge $3.00 a gallon for it! What's up with that?
Wow, you certainly have your work cut out for you. But if that compressor is original to the truck, it will be an excellent collector's piece when it's done! There aren't many of the compressor rigs left.
I know David Doyle has one, have you gotten with him about the compressor specifics?
