When I was in MI I had to air down to 5psi. The deuce is almost unstopable in the sand. I never got suck and I even towed a truck up hill to the park gates with out a problem. Now mud is another story, tryed it once and I wont again.
how much oil Psi should a 465 have? Ive seen 0-60 and 0-120. whats the deal? is there two different pumps? tThis has bugged me for a long time and now I cant sleep at night
I use 15w-40 shell. Seams to stay clean a bit longer and hold a higher PSI. The data plate says 30w but for what oils are today compared to even 5 years ago a 15w-40 works very well.

On race car bearings (very big) 15-20 foot pounds. Thats a very good place to start, too loose and clunk clunk clunk, too tight and burn up city. A deuce bearing is just like any other, 15-20 and recheck after a couple 100 miles and you should be good to go.
yes there is a way to see how good the traction of a tire is. Its a small pin type gauge that pokes the tred and shows you how soft or hard the compound is. we used it on the race car (super late model, one step below ASA) works great, and I can order one for avout 60 bucks give or take.
take out the relay and use wire in a push button. The relays and sensors (military and gm) stink and always brake!! do it the ez way and use a bush button you will thank your self trust me!
get the glow plugs back in working order. I just used a push button switch on mine. Most 6.2's will not start with out glow plug action when cold due to the "low" 18.5 to 1 comprestion. Now my deuce with 22 to 1 will fire up befor Im able to let go of the starter switch. My flame heater has...
