Okay, this is a dumb question, but:
When did the military start putting paintball ranges on the bases? And what type of vehicles at your base are used there? I guess paintball is replacing the real rifle ranges....
Not a M172 series, the gooseneck portion of the trailer is much too high to be the M172 or M172A1. I looked in David Doyle's book and I didn't see anything resembling the above....
Radcliff is also the home of U.S. Cavalry, a fine but expensive source for military spec equipment and uniforms. Come to think of it, if I remember back from my days that haunted the area, there are a lot of surplus stores, gun shops, pawn shops with surplus gear, thrift stores, etc. around...

Yup - sorry folks. Under the current regs, if they get surplused, any armor is to be cut up for scrap.
It is a cool truck though. Hopefully it will keep some of our sons and daughter safe in the sandbox.

I thought the Chieftains were well liked? They served for quite some time in the Brit Army. It's not that I don't trust your judgement, tankie88, it's just that your that first person/source I have heard speak ill of the tank.
