Towbars in Oregon - look at this pic!

MR - make sure you take lots of pics of other things he is trying to get rid of in his yard. Glad you are trying to save a bunch of stuff from him. Wish I was closer, I would love to save some stuff considering the zoning situation he is in... For those who need ends, Austin Weber on eBay is...

    Found boarding ladders for $35

Okay, got an email from citizensoldier, he says he wants all of them. Guess I'll have to buy them all, and divvy them out to everyone once I get them. CS - NO I'm not driving all the way to gilbert's house to drop them off! :)

A funny thing happened on the way to....

Cool, you got a SCIF! Those are used in the Intelligence world to provide secure electronic storage and meeting rooms for classified work. There's one for sale in the DC area for $50,000 just like the one you got. I work for a govt. subcontractor, and we were looking at getting one not long...

What's everyone think is the best SINGLE color for my HEMTT?

I think a nice happy medium can be had for the traditionalists and those here who want to see you paint it white. Since you're high in the mountains of WA, this would be perfect, and very unique. Paint the sucker white, stem to stern. THEN, make it a 4-color camo job, incorporating woodland...

Old vs. New M725 dataplate - which do you like?

So far, tally stands at 4 for the old one, and 0 for the new. Guess I'm gonna be mailing this one back to Rod Shaver along with a refund request and a complaint. I've heard great things about mvdataplates.com, I wasn't expecting this strange data plate to be shipped to me....

    Cargo Bows

Re: bow I believe they are put in a form wet and then dried. You can do this yourself by getting 1x3 inch oak at Lowe's and soaking them in water for a few days, and bending to shape, and let dry for a week or so.

Old vs. New M725 dataplate - which do you like?

Torn between two data plates for my -725. One is the original, the top one in the pic. Not bad condition but a little faded and some scratched. Bottom one was from mvdataplates.com and is real shiny and new, but the information looks weird, like it was written by hand by a 10-yr-old. ...

MV Salvage Yards/Surplus Yards in KY, OH, IN and TN

I'm not sure how far they are from you, but in Memphis there is Memphis Equipment. Granted mostly they deal in deuce and 5-ton parts, but it's a start....

    What are these rims for?

Did you measure them? They definitely look military-ish. I'd buy them all if the price was right, and I had money. :)

M715 video rescueing two civvy trucks in the mud pit

Found this video on YouTube. Shows an old M715 extracting a Jeep ZJ and a Ford Bronco outta a mud pit at the SAME TIME. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3vL9RGJ3ek This is where I would've gotten outta the -715, shook the other truck's owner's hands, and said "Get a real truck."

    M60 Wrecker questions

If you find a M60 wrecker, or a M108, you will either find it has major problems and a fair price tag, or is really nice and costs as much as 2 M816 5-ton wreckers. I wish you luck in your search....
