Normally it is painted inside the doors about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom. It is also on the dataplate but I'm assuming that's where you;ve already found it at.
Keep in mind that PVT Joe Snuffy punched this data in on a Monday after an all weekend I&I.

Just to clarify, the cargo deuces were around 2000. All types of various trucks with a 2320-00 (could be 5 tons, deuces of all types, fire trucks, ????) is the 7500 number.
Yep the fire department may get them but are probably going after the M35A3 and/or 800 series 5ton due to the...
Short version: No truth to this rumor at all.
Long version: It's been mentioned on here numerous times from folks that are in "The Know". The NG and AR are getting rid of their A2 deuces and will have all of them turned in by Oct 2009. The Army is not budgeting for parts or support for...

What is the difference between the suspensions or frames of a M1008 and a maintenance truck?
Is it possible to take the bed off of a M1008 and then replace it with a maintenance body?
What major components will need changed out?
No offense in this but I have to chuckle...
Everyone thinks it's a fire extinguisher mounting point. So many folks have never looked at the TM. Just have to chuckle.
Don't get overly excited. E22 is right, this is old information that has been mentioned on here several times. The same goes for the 800 series 5 tons and any 900 sereis that are not up to A2 standards. The A2's will be retained until the MTV's received. The National Guard made this decision...
