You're one of the lucky ones - I sanded mine and found that the military had ground the numbers off with a sanding disc when they surplused it out. Not legible. I am currently marking my truck with unit numbers from the local VA ARNG unit...
Got an idea for a repaint, unless you want camo, David - paint it 24087, with a yellow nose leading edge, like the guntrucks did in Vietnam. Granted, you're isn't a guntruck, but it's the same family, plus it looks COOL!

Alfa Heaven has some nice rigs, but like any used car lot, you really have to go over the rigs yourself before you hand over the cash. I've never dealt with Tom, and I have heard good and bad about his business. But I will say this: if his trucks weren't worth it, he wouldn't have been...

What's' the legality of re-importing the MUTT from other countries we sold them to? A lot of central American countries are selling them by the hundred for pennies on the dollar, just because they are getting old and are not the most modern thing on the block. If importation is legal, and...
Revisit here - just want to make sure its right before I blow the block up. It probably will anyways. :)
Anyways, here's a couple pics of the distributor. Nate, I heard that the firing order was 1-6 going counterclockwise. Can anyone shed light on this?
